The 2406 receiver's standard material of construction is spun aluminum. A low-voltage cable system featuring quick-connect plugs allows the receivers to be connected to the Microprocessor Controller, PLC Central Controller, or LSR Controller effortlessly and without the need for tools. Additionally, low-voltage wiring typically doesn’t require an electrician or conduit, making electrical installations more cost-effective.
Model 2406A
Model 2406A features a proximity switch and a Pyrex™ sight glass with an aluminum base that mounts directly to the machine’s throat.
Model 2406B
Model 2406B features a polypropylene check ball that ensures an airtight seal, allowing the unit to be mounted directly onto a hopper. A proximity or rotary-type level control is necessary to maintain the material level within the hopper.

Controls
The receiver is available with controls suitable for use either with a solid-state microprocessor controller (MPC) or a programmable logic controller (PLC). Both control systems operate on 24 VDC low voltage and come with installation kits that simplify and make the setup more cost-effective. The receiver controls feature color-coded quick connectors and enable communication with the central controller. For single-receiver applications, we offer the LSR Controller. In loss-in-weight feeder refill applications, the LSR Controller integrates seamlessly with the Feeder controls.
