2410 Pellet Receiver

The 2410 pellet receiver is designed to handle pellets as well as regrind or granular materials. Its modular design offers flexibility in selecting the material construction, power requirements, filtration system, receiver inlet configurations, and discharge type—allowing you to meet both your current application needs and future requirements. The 2410 receiver is available in two versions: one optimized for continuous conveying applications, and the other tailored for loss-in-weight (LIW) feeder refill systems. Depending on the specific application and the material being handled, users can choose from a variety of discharge valve types, including gravity, slide, and butterfly valves. Receivers intended for keep-full applications are equipped with a gravity gate discharge valve. These receivers initiate material-drawing cycles as long as the inductive proximity switch on the gravity discharge gate remains nearly closed—or until a signal is detected from a secondary level indicator located in the hopper—ensuring that the hopper below the receiver stays fully loaded at all times.

The 2410 receiver is available in either aluminum (painted) or stainless steel construction. Components of different constructions are interchangeable, allowing receivers to be specified with stainless steel material contact areas only.
Central system units for the 2410 receivers use a common vacuum blower package and are primarily employed in multi-destination applications requiring higher conveying rates or longer distances.
    Mechanical Features
    • Rugged modular design
    • Quick-connect clamps for easy cleaning and filter maintenance
    • Full-support discharge flange for mounting
    Controls
The receiver is available with controls suitable for use either with a solid-state microprocessor controller (MPC) or a programmable logic controller (PLC). Both control systems operate on 24 VDC low voltage and come with installation kits that simplify and make the setup more cost-effective. The receiver controls feature color-coded quick connectors and enable communication with the central controller. For single-receiver applications, we offer the LSR Controller. In loss-in-weight feeder refill applications, the LSR Controller integrates seamlessly with feeder controls.
