Overview Introduction
2424 Pellet Receiver
The 2424 pellet receiver features a high-capacity sequencing system designed to handle pellets, as well as regrind and granular materials. It is ideally suited for applications such as silo-to-day transfer, in-plant material handling, or railcar unloading—capable of processing up to 6,800 kg/hr [15,000 lb/h]. The 2424 receiver comes in two versions: one optimized for continuous full-conveying operations, and the other tailored for loss-in-weight (LIW) feeder refill applications. Depending on the specific application and the material being fed, users can choose from a variety of discharge valve types, including gravity-operated or butterfly valves. Receivers intended for keep-full applications are equipped with a gravity gate discharge valve. When the material level in the storage hopper drops below the level indicator, the receiver automatically signals to start drawing material. The filling sequence continues until the material level in the hopper rises above the indicator.

The 2424 receiver is available in either carbon steel (painted) or stainless-steel construction. Each receiver includes a stainless-steel check valve, enabling multiple receivers to draw material from a shared conveying line. The 2424 pellet receiver features a perforated screen filter section. Central system units for the 2424 receivers use a common vacuum blower package and are primarily designed for multi-destination applications requiring higher conveying rates or longer distances.
Mechanical Features
• Rugged modular design
• Quick-connect clamps for easy cleaning and filter maintenance
• Full-support discharge flange for mounting
Controls
The receiver is available with controls designed for use either with a solid-state microprocessor controller (MPC) or a programmable logic controller (PLC). Both control systems operate on 24 VDC low voltage and come bundled with installation kits, ensuring easy and cost-effective setup. The receiver controls feature color-coded quick connectors and enable seamless communication with the central controller. For single-receiver applications, we offer the LSR Controller. In loss-in-weight feeder refill applications, the LSR Controller integrates effortlessly with the Feeder controls.Download Product Specification Sheets
