Overview Introduction
Air Injection Module
One of the key elements in operating a dense-phase conveying system is the ability to inject compressed air at strategic points along the conveyance line. These injection points help create slow-moving "slugs" of material, significantly reducing the risk of pipeline blockages, abrasion, degradation, and segregation—particularly when handling challenging materials. The Air Injection Module is a component used in Omniveyor™ TM AIM dense-phase pressure vessel conveying systems.

The AIM compressed air control design utilizes the most advanced technology currently available on the market. We feature a precision compressed air flow and pressure control system WITH feedback. All air injection points can be adjusted and monitored from a single location—without physically accessing any individual air injection point along the entire conveyor line.

Flow Transmitter:
Provides compressed air flow feedback to the control system.
Proportional Flow Control Valve:
Provides compressed air flow control to a compressed air injection point or a series of injection points. This valve utilizes a PID loop to achieve optimal conveying characteristics.
Non-Return Valve:
This device is provided as a precaution to prevent the conveyed material from entering the Air Injection Module.
Pressure Transmitter:
The pressure transmitter monitors the pressure at various points along the convey line and ensures that the pressure at each compressed-air injection point is precisely controlled, guaranteeing flow in the correct direction while also monitoring the operation of each individual compressed-air injection point—or series of injection points.
Flow & Pressure Control Block:
Provides feedback and remote control capability for each individual compressed air injection point, enabling the system to be optimized for a variety of materials and conditions. Includes an Ethernet communication module to transmit information back to the dense-phase system’s supervisory control system.Download Product Specification Sheets
