BODY:
Wafer-style cast monoblock with raised faces and reinforcing ribs, designed for large diameters to enhance structural strength. Internal cast-in gate wedges and guides ensure a tighter shut-off between the gate and seat. The full-port design delivers superior flow capacity while minimizing pressure drop. Additionally, the internal body configuration prevents the accumulation of solids, guaranteeing smooth valve operation and reliable closure.

GATE:
Stainless steel gate. The gate is polished on both sides to prevent jamming and seat damage. The bottom edge of the gate is machined at a bevel angle, allowing it to cut through solids for a tighter seal when closed. Additionally, the thickness and/or material of the gate can be customized upon request to meet higher pressure requirements.

SEAT: (resilient)
Unique design that mechanically locks the seal inside the valve body using a stainless steel retainer ring. Standard EPDM is also available, along with other materials such as Viton, PTFE, and more.

PACKAGING:
Long-life packing featuring multiple layers of braided fiber combined with an EPDM o-ring, along with an easily accessible packing gland that guarantees a tight seal. Long-life braided packing is available in a wide variety of materials.

STEM:
The standard stainless steel stem ensures a long, corrosion-resistant service life. For rising stem handwheel actuators only, a stem protector is included to provide extra protection against dust when the valve is in the open position.

ACTUATORS:
All actuators supplied by ORBINOX are interchangeable and come with a standard mounting kit for easy installation on-site.

YOKE OR ACTUATOR SUPPORT:
Made from EPOXY-coated steel (stainless steel available upon request). Its compact design ensures extreme robustness, even under the harshest conditions.
