The Quick Change Feeder lets you switch between a single-screw feed bowl and a twin-screw feed bowl in just minutes, enabling a single feeding station to handle a wide variety of materials. Additionally, while the removed feed bowl and screw(s) are being cleaned, the replacement bowl and screw(s) can keep the feeding process running smoothly.
While single-screw feeding elements are ideal for handling free-flowing powders, granules, pellets, and other non-flooding materials, they often perform poorly with many of the more challenging-to-handle substances. Twin-screw elements, which feature two self-wiping, closed-flight screws meshed side by side, efficiently convey both floodable powders and sticky or otherwise difficult-to-flow materials toward the discharge point.
