Bulk Solids Pump Feeders BSP

Gentle, precise feeding of free-flowing materials Our unique Bulk Solids Pump (BSP) feeders are specifically designed and engineered to deliver gentle, accurate feeding of free-flowing pellets, granules, flakes, powders, and friable products. Unlike conventional systems that rely on screws, augers, belts, or vibratory trays for material conveyance, the BSP feeders employ positive displacement technology to ensure highly precise feeding of free-flowing materials. This results in uniform discharge, consistent volume control, and exceptionally gentle handling of the product. All BSP feeders feature vertically rotating discs that create a controlled "product lock-up" zone, enabling smooth material flow from the storage hopper directly to the discharge outlet—and achieving true linear mass flow in the process.

  • DESIGN FEATURES

Utilizing a simple design and the principle known as "lock-up," the material in the feeder is moved together via true positive displacement, ensuring excellent linearity and breakthrough accuracy. The compact feeder can be cleaned in seconds, making it ideal for applications that require frequent material changes.
With just one moving part and no pockets or screws, the design is simple, offering ease of use and virtually zero maintenance. There are practically no areas where material can get trapped, making cleaning exceptionally straightforward. Reliability is ensured by the minimal number of components and the low friction within the system, which reduces stress on any single part. Additionally, additives that are prone to damage or have a low melting point are safeguarded against degradation. The inlet slide gate enables complete material shut-off and allows for easy removal of the feeder for cleaning and hopper emptying.

  • BSP-100

The BSP-100 features a single feeding duct created by two rotating discs. It includes a conical inlet transition piece that can be easily combined with a variety of standard extension hoppers. A slide gate at the inlet allows for material shut-off and enables removal of the feeder for cleaning and hopper emptying. The BSP-100 is available either as a volumetric unit or as a gravimetric unit, with a choice of two platform scales: a single-point suspension scale or a three-point suspension scale.

  • BSP-135

The BSP-135 is a slightly larger version of the BSP-100, featuring all the same functionalities—with the exception that it has three feeding ducts instead of one. The BSP-135 is available either as a volumetric unit or as a gravimetric unit, with options including a platform scale, a single-point suspension scale, or a three-point suspension scale.

  • BSP-150-S

The BSP-150-S is a 4-duct version based on the same technology as the BSP-100, but it’s manufactured from stainless steel. It also features an inlet transition piece, along with a stepper motor and a removable material discharge chute.
The BSP-150-S is available as a volumetric unit or as a gravimetric unit with a three-point suspension scale.
