Vibratory Feeders

Gentle gravimetric feeding of fragile, friable, abrasive, or fibrous materials When uniform discharge is critical—especially at very low flow rates—our vibratory feeders deliver exceptional gravimetric accuracy for highly free-flowing bulk materials. The K3 line of vibratory feeders boasts enhanced precision, thanks to innovative drive technology currently under patent. Featuring a modular design, the K3 vibratory feeders are available in both a standard configuration and a hygienic, easy-to-clean version. These vibratory feeders are ideally suited for the gentle handling of a wide variety of bulk solid materials, particularly delicate ingredients and challenging substances such as finished, friable food products, flakes, and glass fibers.

Unique shock absorber design enhances accuracy

The key to achieving high accuracy lies in the ability to deliver a continuous, uniform product discharge with minimal pulsations. The K3 vibratory drive excels at this thanks to its unique shock absorber design. Conventional vibratory feeders rely on rubber or spring-based shock absorbers, which allow movement of the drive in all directions, leading to rotational motion. In contrast, the K3 line employs a cutting-edge flexible pendulum technology that provides shock absorption exclusively in the desired direction of motion, effectively eliminating any rotational movement. This precise, parallel motion ensures an even flow of material across the entire length of the tray.
The advanced control system and feeder electronics feature internal sensors that measure acceleration, displacement, load, current, and temperature at rates of up to 25,000 times per second. The fast-acting controller then adjusts the vibratory drive signal to ensure clean sinusoidal displacement, optimizing mass flow.
