As the material enters the processing machine, the volumetric ProRate PURE Feeder precisely measures pelletized color concentrates, modifiers, or free-flowing additives into the raw material stream. Designed for modular flexibility, ProRate PURE feeders can be easily added or removed to accommodate evolving requirements. For instance, if an operator begins metering one ingredient and later decides to add a second, they can simply bolt another ProRate PURE Feeder onto the pedestal.
ProRate PURE feeders are available in two sizes and can be paired with either the Gravity Mixer or the ProBlend Mixer base to deliver a material blend directly into the process below.

The ProRate PURE |I is equipped with larger augers and hopper capacities to deliver the higher feed rates required for certain applications. It can be mounted directly onto the molding machine, extruder, or connected to one of Coperion K-Tron’s line of mixers. Each ProRate PURE II features a precision-machined, stainless steel housing and auger, ensuring exact tolerances for highly accurate material feeding.

Designed for use as an on-machine blender or for central-station blending, the ProBlend precisely meters and mixes materials at various blend ratios. Featuring a compact hopper equipped with an adjustable-speed impeller, the ProBlend’s continuous mixing action consistently ensures homogeneous blending. The system includes positions for up to four high-precision ProRate Feeders, which can simultaneously meter additives or colorants into the blending hopper. ProRates can be added or removed to meet future application needs.

The ProRate'M PURE Gravimetric blenders feature one to six ingredient feeders and a PLC controller. They are designed to continuously and precisely meter raw materials into a central station hopper.
Each of the feeders operates in an independent, continuous loss-in-weight scaling mode to maintain precise control over each ingredient. The desired feed rate for each material can be set in pounds (or kilograms) per hour, as a percentage of the total rate, or as a percentage of the virgin material.
