Overview Introduction
Filter Receiver Dual Access
The Filtair™ Series Filter Receiver, featuring double access doors, enables automatic separation of material from the air. The tangential inlet, positioned in the receiver’s circular hopper, creates a cyclonic action that effectively separates the material from the air stream. Any remaining airborne particles are captured by the filter element. Compressed air pulses—delivered sequentially and timed precisely via solenoid valves—are directed into the filter bags or cartridges, dislodging dust particles and cleaning the filters. Additionally, a deflector shield safeguards the filter element from direct exposure to the main airflow. Efficient performance of the filter receiver is ensured through careful selection of the filter media, maintaining an optimal air-to-cloth ratio, and accounting for appropriate can velocities.

The standard material of construction is carbon steel with an enamel coating. The unit’s filter element is cleaned using reverse-jet cleaning, powered by a compressed air accumulator. Compressed air is directed through venturis, creating a powerful airflow that effectively dislodges even the most stubborn dust particles from the filter element, ensuring thorough cleaning. Importantly, only a single row of the filter element is pulsed at a time, allowing the remaining rows to remain online and continue filtering. The interval between pulses is adjustable, optimizing the cleaning process for maximum efficiency. The receiver features two access doors positioned 180° apart, providing convenient and easy access to the filter element for maintenance tasks. These doors are designed with a curved profile to minimize internal ledges, reducing the risk of dust accumulation. Air pulse cleaning of the filter element is precisely controlled by the timer control panel, which allows users to easily adjust both the frequency and duration of each pulse. A display clearly indicates which specific row of the filter element is currently being cleaned. Each receiver is equipped with a pressure differential indicator, which continuously monitors and displays the pressure difference between the filter element housing and the clean air plenum, offering real-time feedback on the system’s performance.
