Overview Introduction
Filter Receiver Single Access
The Filtair™ Series Filter Receiver provides automatic material separation from the air. The tangential inlet, located in the receiver’s circular hopper, creates a cyclonic action that separates the material from the air stream. Any remaining airborne particles are captured by the filter element. Sequential bursts of compressed air—controlled by solenoid valves—are then directed into the bags or cartridges, pulsing them to dislodge dust particles and clean the filters. Meanwhile, a deflector shield protects the filter element from direct exposure to the main airflow. Efficient performance of the filter receiver is ensured through careful selection of the filter media, maintaining the optimal air-to-cloth ratio, and considering the appropriate can velocity.

The standard material of construction is carbon steel with an enamel coating. The unit’s filter element is cleaned using reverse-jet cleaning, powered by a compressed air accumulator. Compressed air is directed through Venturi nozzles, creating a powerful airflow that effectively dislodges even the most stubborn dust particles from the filter element, ensuring thorough cleaning. Importantly, only a single row of the filter element is pulsed at any given time, while the remaining rows continue to operate normally. The interval between pulses is adjustable, allowing operators to fine-tune the cleaning process for optimal performance. For maintenance convenience, the receiver’s filter element is easily accessible via a quick-access door, which features a curved profile designed to minimize internal ledges and prevent dust buildup. Air pulse cleaning of the filter element is precisely controlled by a timer panel, enabling users to effortlessly adjust both the frequency and duration of each pulse. A display clearly indicates which specific row of the filter element is currently being cleaned. Each receiver is also equipped with a pressure differential indicator, which continuously monitors the difference in pressure between the filter element housing and the clean-air plenum. This gauge provides real-time feedback to the operator, signaling how effectively the filter-cleaning system is performing.
