Overview Introduction
Side Access Filter Receiver
The Side Access Filter Receiver enables material-to-air separation during vacuum or pressurized conveying of products in pellet, granular, and powder forms. It is commonly used when side access to filters is critical, allowing maintenance personnel to replace the filters without entering the product area—and where height restrictions make it impractical to use top-load filters.

The unit’s filter element is cleaned using reverse-jet cleaning from a compressed-air accumulator. Compressed air is directed through Venturi nozzles, creating a powerful airflow that effectively dislodges dust particles for thorough cleaning of the filter element. Filter elements are pulsed in groups at a time, while the remaining elements continue to operate online. The interval between pulsing cycles is adjustable, ensuring optimal cleaning performance. Incoming material is filtered by a cleanable spunbond polyester substrate equipped with an FDA-approved ePTFE membrane. Available in both carbon steel and stainless steel construction materials.
Features
• Lower overall height compared to top-load filters
• Replace the filters without entering the product area
• A unique top material inlet on the receiver helps reduce concerns about can velocity
• Steep hopper slope helps facilitate material flow for hard-to-handle materials
Controls
• The air pulse cleaning of the filter elements is regulated by the timer control panel. The timer controls the remote pilot valves and allows for easy adjustment of both the frequency and duration of each pulse.Download Product Specification Sheets
