2423 Powder Receiver

The 2423 vacuum receiver features a high-capacity sequencing system designed to handle powders, pellets, regrinds, and granular materials. It is recommended for applications such as loading feeders, silo-to-daybin transfers, in-plant material transfers, or railcar unloading—capable of processing up to 1,406 kg/hr [3,100 lb/hr].
The 2423 receiver is available in two versions, designed for either general keep-full conveying or loss-in-weight (LIW) feeder refill applications. It offers a selection of various discharge valve types—gravity, orifice, and butterfly—depending on the specific application and the material being fed. Receivers intended for keep-full applications are equipped with a gravity gate discharge valve. When the material level in the storage hopper drops below the level indicator, the receiver is triggered to start drawing material. The filling sequence continues until the material level in the hopper rises above the level indicator.

The 2423 receiver is available in either carbon steel (painted) or stainless steel construction. Each receiver features a stainless steel check valve, enabling multiple receivers to draw material from a shared conveying line. The 2423 receiver incorporates a cartridge filter. Central system units for the 2423 receiver use a common vacuum blower package and are primarily designed for multi-destination applications requiring higher conveying rates or longer distances.
    Mechanical Features
    • Rugged modular design
    • Quick-connect clamps for easy cleaning and filter maintenance
    • Full-support discharge flange for mounting
    Controls
The receiver is available with controls suitable for use either with a solid-state microprocessor controller (MPC) or a programmable logic controller (PLC). Both control systems operate on 24 VDC low voltage and come with installation kits that simplify and make the setup more cost-effective. The receiver controls feature color-coded quick connectors and enable communication with the central controller. For single-receiver applications, we offer the LSR Controller. In loss-in-weight feeder refill applications, the LSR Controller integrates seamlessly with feeder controls.
