Aeropass Diversion Valve
The Aeropass™ Valve is a diverter valve typically used when batches of material are delivered from a single source to multiple destinations. A single Aeropass Valve is installed on each destination vessel. When one of the destinations requires material, the Aeropass Valve shifts into the 90-degree position, directing both the material and air into the destination hopper, where they separate—leaving the material behind in the hopper while the air is routed back to the source tank. Once the hopper is full, the Aeropass Valve automatically returns to its straight-through position, allowing the material and air to purge back into the source tank. Additionally, the valve’s ability to instantly shut off material flow when the hopper reaches capacity makes it ideally suited for applications where the hopper is mounted directly on a weighing scale.
