Modular Cartridge Bin Vent
The Modular Cartridge Bin Vent is available as a static unit or with pulse-clean control. They deliver exceptional air filtration, effectively removing fine airborne particles from inside a storage tank while releasing clean air back into the atmosphere. As material is pneumatically conveyed into the storage tank, the unit’s large cartridge filter efficiently separates fine particles from the air, allowing clean air to exit the tank and flow into the atmosphere. In the pulse-clean version, compressed air from an accumulator is used to perform reverse-jet cleaning, which pulses the cartridge filter and dislodges any trapped fines, returning them safely to the storage tank.

The Modular Cartridge Bin Vent is available as a static unit or with pulse-clean control. The Modular Cartridge Bin Vent is designed for easy maintenance. Standard construction materials include carbon steel with an enamel coating or stainless-steel contact areas. Stainless steel options are available for applications involving abrasive, corrosive, or food-grade environments. Mounted on a standard 508 mm [20 in] diameter tank deck flange, this compact, modular unit is both affordable and simple to install. The unit features a single cartridge filter made from durable, washable polyester, ensuring efficient filtration. The cartridge filter is positioned vertically and boasts shallow, open pleats that facilitate effective dust release—even when handling challenging materials. Each unit can handle airflows ranging from 5.7 to 11.3 m³/min [200 to 400 ft³/min], depending on the specific application. Quick-release clamps provide convenient access to the cartridge filter. Additionally, the plenum includes a built-in weather hood and a specially engineered diffuser, allowing each air pulse to thoroughly clean the entire filter on pulse-clean units. Unlike other bin vents, this design eliminates the need for an exhaust fan.
